The Barolo Ravera Riserva “Vigna Elena” 2013 from Elvio Cogno is a profound, long‑ lived Barolo made from a rare massal selection of Nebbiolo Rosé, planted in the heart of the Ravera cru. Aromas of red cherry, dried rose, pomegranate, blond tobacco, fine tar, sweet spice and chalky minerality lead into a vertical, precise palate. The tannins are firm yet noble, the acidity vibrant, and the structure deep and persistent. The finish is long, saline, spicy and exceptionally pure. A complex, refined Barolo Riserva built for decades of ageing.
