The Barolo Ravera “Bricco Pernice” 2014 from Elvio Cogno is a profound, slow‑ maturing Barolo from the highest and latest‑ ripening section of the Ravera cru. Aromas of black cherry, dried rose, blond tobacco, fine tar, sweet spice and chalky minerality lead into a vertical, precise palate. The tannins are firm yet noble, the acidity vibrant, and the structure deep and persistent. The finish is long, saline, spicy and exceptionally pure. A serious, complex Barolo built for long ageing.
