“Unterstenberg” shows the deeper, more structured and herbal side of the Ayler Kupp. The 2016 vintage brings cool elegance, ripe yellow fruit and earthy slate spice. Off dry on paper but dry in feel — layered, mineral and quietly powerful.

Palate: Juicy, structured, mineral, with precise acidity and depth.
