Origin & Style  

Erdener Treppchen is one of the Mosel’s steepest and most expressive slate vineyards. Markus Molitor’s Dreistern Auslesen represent the pinnacle of selection, precision and concentration. The 2017 vintage delivered intensely ripe grapes with brilliant acidity – ideal for producing powerful, crystalline sweet Rieslings.

Aromatics  

Ripe apricot, candied citrus, passion fruit, honey blossom and deep smoky slate minerality. On the palate dense, pure and vibrant, lifted by precise, lively acidity. The finish is long, complex and crystal clear.

Vinification  

Multiple selective hand harvest passes, gentle pressing, spontaneous fermentation and stainless steel ageing to preserve purity and tension.

Serving Recommendation  

Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. Excellent with blue cheese, foie gras, Asian cuisine or simply on its own.

Ageing Potential  

Exceptional – 30+ years. Dreistern Auslesen are among the most age worthy wines of the Mosel.
