Ried Steinriegel is one of Wohlmuth’s highest, coolest and steepest vineyards. Its slate and quartzite soils give the Sauvignon Blanc remarkable mineral tension, precision and purity. The 2019 vintage shows crystalline freshness, citrus clarity and a long, saline finish.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Pale straw with green hues.

Nose: Gooseberry, lime, green apple, elderflower, nettle, wet stone, herbal lift.

Palate: Tight, mineral, precise, with vibrant acidity and elegant texture.

Finish: Long, cool, saline, stony.
