The Blaufränkisch Eisenberg DAC Reserve 2015 by Uwe Schiefer is a deep, taut and mineral driven wine shaped by the slate rich, iron tinged soils of the Eisenberg. Aromas of sour cherry, blackberry, violet, dried herbs, warm stone and a smoky edge lead into a linear, elegant palate with fine tannins and vibrant acidity. The finish is long, salty and precise.

2015 belongs to the very last vintages still vinified within the cooperative — making this bottling exceptionally rare and highly sought after today.
