Peñas Aladas Gran Reserva comes from extremely old, high altitude Tinto Fino vineyards around La Horra. The 2013 vintage is cooler and more refined than 2012, offering red fruit lift, floral elegance, fine tannins and a chalky mineral backbone. A profound, age worthy Ribera with tension, depth and finesse.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Ruby with garnet hues.

Nose: Black cherry, red plum, blackberry, violet, licorice, graphite, tobacco, subtle toast.

Palate: Silky, fresh, structured, with refined tannins and precise acidity.

Finish: Long, floral, spicy, mineral, elegant.
