The “Mimas” 2019 from Candialle is a deep, vibrant and artisanal Sangiovese from the high slopes of Panzano in Chianti. Aromas of black cherry, plum, violet, Tuscan herbs and stony minerality lead into a structured yet silky palate. The acidity is bright, the tannins fine and long, and the finish spicy, mineral and persistent. A pure, energetic Sangiovese — elegant, expressive and beautifully crafted.
