Origin & Style  

AALTO is one of Ribera del Duero’s modern benchmarks. The 2022 vintage combines depth, ripe fruit and polished structure. Old‑ vine Tempranillo, strict selection and the signature of Mariano García (ex‑ Vega Sicilia) create a powerful yet harmonious wine.

Aromatics  

Dark cherry, plum, blackberry, balsamic notes, cedar, clove and subtle toast. Dense and silky on the palate with ripe tannins and vibrant acidity. Long, spicy finish.

Vinification  

Aged in French and American oak barrels. The oak is present but refined, adding depth without dominating.

Serving Recommendation  

Serve at 16–18 °C. Decant for 1 hour.

Ageing Potential  

Very good – 10–15 years.
