Mosel – 0.75 l – Riesling – 8.0 % vol. – Off Dry / Sweet – Green Capsule

Profile

This feinherb Auslese from Graacher Himmelreich 2003 comes from one of the warmest vintages ever recorded at the Mosel. Despite the heat, the wine shows remarkable balance: ripe yellow fruit, honeyed notes, herbal lift and classic slate driven minerality. The green capsule signals the traditional, elegant style — less opulent than Goldkapsel Auslesen, more refined and drinkable.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Ripe apricot, candied lemon, honey, herbs, wet slate.

Palate: Creamy, ripe and harmonious. Off‑ dry sweetness, soft acidity, elegant maturity.

Finish: Long, honeyed, mineral.

Food Pairing

Asian cuisine, spicy dishes, blue cheese, foie gras, fruit based desserts.
