The Blaufränkisch Burgenland 2017 by Uwe Schiefer is a cool toned, precise and mineral driven red, showing sour cherry, blackberry, violet, dried herbs and a smoky, stony edge. The palate is linear, elegant and finely structured, with vibrant acidity and a long, salty mineral finish.

2017 belongs to the final vintages still vinified within the cooperative, making this bottling increasingly rare and highly sought after.
