Les Tuvilains is one of Beaune’s most characterful and quietly powerful Premier Crus. Situated on the mid slope, the vineyard combines fine clay, limestone fragments and excellent exposure, producing wines with a distinctive mix of depth, tension and aromatic lift. Domaine des Croix interprets this site with remarkable precision, favouring purity and structural finesse.
The 2023 vintage delivers a wine of impressive clarity: darker fruit tones than Cent Vignes, more structure than Peuillets, and a mineral backbone that promises graceful ageing.
Aromatics: black cherry, wild plum, violet, graphite, subtle spice
Palate: firm yet refined tannins, concentrated core, vibrant acidity, mineral tension
Finish: long, savoury, persistent, with a stony, noble grip
