Herrkretz Riesling GG Vdp Grosse Lage 2023

Herrkretz is one of Siefersheim’s most dramatic sites, defined by steep volcanic slopes and fractured porphyry soils. The 2023 vintage delivers a Riesling of exceptional purity and tension, with aromas of ripe lemon, grapefruit zest, white peach and a pronounced mineral edge. On the palate, it is linear, vibrant and tightly focused, supported by fine acidity. The finish is long, saline and deeply stony. A Grosses Gewächs of remarkable precision, energy and elegance.
