After the passing of Felix Peters, Klaus Peter Keller and Kai Müller selected the three most expressive barrels of his final Pinot Noir vintage. Together with the team at Schlossgut Diel, the wine was bottled with great care. A gesture of friendship, respect and gratitude for Felix’s work.
The aroma shows a beautiful interplay of gentle reduction and the charming, open fruit of the 2022 vintage. Layers of red and dark berries, fine spice and a Burgundian styled depth shape the bouquet.
On the palate, the wine is immediately inviting, with a creamy flow and silky texture, yet supported by enough structure and substance to age gracefully.
It is a wine filled with emotion. Not only because of its quality, but because of the story behind it.
The last great Pinot Noir crafted by Felix. The cork carries a quiet tribute: “To you, Felix.”
