The Merlot “M” 2017 by Uwe Schiefer is a cool toned, taut and mineral driven Merlot — far from the lush international style. It shows black plum, sour cherry, dried herbs, graphite, violet and a smoky, stony edge. The palate is linear, elegant and finely structured, with vibrant acidity and a long, salty mineral finish.

2017 belongs to the very last vintages still vinified within the cooperative. Making this bottling exceptionally rare and highly sought after today.
