The Ried Schüttenberg Chardonnay 2023 from Markowitsch originates from one of Carnuntum’s cooler, limestone rich hillside sites. The stony, calcareous soils give the Chardonnay its tension, saline minerality, and precise, focused character. Organic farming enhances purity and highlights the vineyard’s natural expression.

The 2023 vintage offers refined aromas of citrus, ripe apple, white blossoms, and a hint of stone fruit. Subtle notes of wet stone, herbs, and delicately integrated oak add depth and complexity.
