FLORENCE CHOLET BOURGOGNE COTE D OR BLANC 2020

Traveling winemaker Florence Cholet took over the four-generation family estate in the small village of Corcelles-les-Arts in the Cote d'Or region in 2019. Corcelles-les-Arts is located east of Puligny Montrachet and directly across Meursault. The farm was formally established as Domaine Christian Cholet-Pelletier by Florence's father Christian in 1976. His wife Anne joined him in 1982.

Florence worked in France, the USA, and Australia, gaining experience. She attended the University of Burgundy, Dijon, where she studied biology and biochemistry. She holds a master's degree in oenology and a license in viticulture. She was employed by a separate laboratory in Morey Saint Denis as well.

Florence was a young, aspirational winemaker who altered many of the original vineyard practices, including the use of new wood and the elimination of pesticides and herbicides.
