Jean-Baptiste Hardy Domaine
Young, talented vintners are emerging in the Muscadet region, producing bottles that are full of grace, tension, and length. This vein belongs to Jean-Baptiste Hardy, and there is a good chance that this young winemaker will earn the title of one of the appellation's coqueluches. In addition to being on the Sanguèse's shores and taking use of the ocean's nearby breeze, Jean-Baptiste has taken over the family's ancestral domain, which is located in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre and Maine, 25 kilometers to the south-east of Nantes, at the point culminating in the community of Mouzillon. The soils in this area are made up of gabbro (eruptive rocks) and silico argilous.
