The negociant initiative of Bastian Wolber questions conventional notions of what constitutes terroir and the geographical constraints associated with wine production. In a talk with him one day, he casually names producers who are directly connected to his movie and the Newcomer-Kiffe family, which gives his story an awesome sense of community and fraternity. On his quest to create his first wines in 2019, Lucas Rieffel, Alex Götze, and Christoph Wolber of Wasenhaus, Rudi Trossen, and Damien Bastian all play significant roles.
