DOMAINE PUY DE L'OURS SAVIGNY LES BEAUNE

Owners Jean Orsini and Juliette Puyperoux are husband and wife, and they manage Puy de l'Ours, a small domaine located in the centre of Savigny-les-Beaune.  (Orsini, Puy de l'Ours, Puyperoux, got it?) The vines that Juliette's grandparents used to grow have been taken over by them (in the past, all the grapes were sold in bulk).  2021 was Jean and Juliette's debut vintage, and they really excelled! We were incredibly lucky to acquire a portion for California (there were only 5,000 bottles produced overall for the estate that year). They are in their third year of applying for certification and are engaged in organic farming.
